The Aldelo ETM Error issue might be caused by a large number of reasons, but the number one cause the ETM Error is if the Aldelo software detects an older or even a corrupt version of EDC which may have be left on your system.
A lot of the times, if your Aldelo POS system has recently received an upgrade, the ETM Error will appear because there are still old files still in the system registry. These old system files need to be removed so the message will stop appearing and the system will start running smoothly again.
Resolution: As previously mentioned, the old system files need to be removed….which is easier said than done! Every Aldelo point of sale system is different, so there is no “one fix for all” to make the Aldelo ETM Error message go away.
Removing system files can be a very tricky issue, and if not addressed correctly can jeopardize your whole Aldelo POS system.
