Aldelo will no longer support older versions of their Aldelo POS and EDC software. Below is the press release direct from Aldelo. Shoreline Technical Services will continue to support all versions of your Aldelo software regardless of Aldelos requirements.

Aldelo maintains a technical support team dedicated to assist our customers’ service needs 24/7.
In order to control our quality of service, as well as ensuring maximum system compatibility and compliance with the latest Operating Systems, PCI Requirements, PA-DSS Validations, as well as the latest industry security standards such as SHA2 and TLS 1.2; Aldelo’s technical support services are limited to Aldelo Software Not Yet reached its ‘Product Support End of Life’ as defined below under this notice.
What Happens When My Version Becomes ‘Product Support End of Life’?
Please rest assure that Aldelo Software will continue to allow for license registration, license activation, POS and Back Office operations, and other daily operational tasks. The ‘Product Support End of Life’ only refers to Aldelo technical support staff not able to offer product assistance on those End of Life versions of the product.
How Do I Make Sure My Version Does Not Become ‘Product Support End of Life’?
Although Product Support End of Life does not affect software operations or registration / activation; however, once reached end of life, our technical support team will not be able to provide troubleshooting or assistance. Therefore, it is important to ensure that you have the most current versions of Aldelo Software installed on your devices.
Just equally as important is ensuring the operating system updates are installed to mitigate any security risks.
To ensure your Aldelo Software is on the latest versions, contact Aldelo Sales, Support, or your local dealer to subscribe to our annual support contract. The annual support contract grants you software updates for the entire site for one year, as well as 24/7 technical support access. Annual support contract is only $595 per year per site (store)
